Fathers Day is important to me because in a world where so many fathers are M.I.A, I've been blessed with a great Dad. My Dad has shown me how I should be treated. Future Husband, I hope you're like my dad. Good luck trying to fill those shoes!
The Chase
On a scale of 1 - 100 (1 being anti-social and 100 being a social butterfly), my social skills are probably at like a -5. So meeting someone new, trying to build a relationship, and flirting the whole "chase" thing...yea it's all confusing to me. I mean I may be over thinking this, but can we attempt consistent communication. Spend some QUALITY time together. Or at the very least let me know what you tryna do and what you are and aren't ready for so we both on the same page and not wasting time. Is that too much to ask? Am I over thinking this? I can’t be the only one lost and confused right? What are your thoughts??? Let me know!!!
When Love Don’t Love You Back
Loving someone who doesn't love you back is really an emotional roller coaster. But how can someone love you.....How can you love someone...if you don't know how to love...if you don't love yourself..if you don't know how to be loved? A lesson I am learning daily. Loving others. Loving my-self. As imperfect as I am. As God created me and loves me unconditionally...

Dear Future Husband: Communication is Key
4/16/18 Dear Future Husband, I really hope you are able to communicate efficiently with me. Especially at times when you're feeling down or stressed or upset. You can't expect me to read your mind. Adult Friendships Are Hard Work!
Back in the day friendships were formed by proximity. You got ya friends from school, friends in the neighborhood, your parents friends kids….It was all so simple. Now as an adult??.....yea it don’t work like that AT ALL. Forming adult friendships are HARD!!! Because now it’s almost intentional. Even “forced” at times. You have to put yourself out there and basically network because these aren’t the same people you’ve known since Pre-K. So how do you even that? Hi! My name is Sherrell and I wanna be your friend lol. Is that weird?....
Can’t Spell Friend without END…
I can honestly say that friENDship has taught me more than ANYTHING in life. I may or may not be exaggerating, but seriously. I’ve learned so much about myself, interactions, bonding and even loss. Loss of a friEND is probably the biggest of all those things. And with that loss, I've come to the realization that sometimes friENDships end. Maybe badly. Maybe amicably. But they do indeed end. That's just part of growing up....
