We are in hospitals coordinating care. We are in courthouses advocating justice for our clients. We are in the schools helping students achieve academic success. We are in DC lobbying for policy changes. We are in offices providing therapy. We are in homes, the same neighborhoods police officers patrol without bullet proof vests and protection. We are everywhere, doing everything. Helping people help themselves. Strengthening lives through solutions. Making a difference. We are amazing! I’m proud to have 6 years as a licensed social worker under my belt. Happy National Social Work Month!
