“No act of kindness, however small, is ever wasted.” -Aesop
Here we are in the midst of this snow storm. 10 degrees but feels like -3 an about a foot of snow has fallen so far. I’m outside shoveling my driveway (cuz who has money for a snow blower lol) and my neighbor from down the street comes to rescue me by finishing my driveway with his wonderful snowblower. I tried to give him a gift card but he wouldn’t take it. “We’re all in this together” he said. That meant so much to me. Especially since I’ve been feeling kinda down lately. But this man took 5 extra minutes to help me, a young single black female living a lone… I know it’s not that deep but I’m extremely grateful. My neighbors, or random strangers, always snow-plow my sidewalk and every now and then I come home from work with my driveway done too. Regardless of the climate of the country, there are good people in the world. Make sure you’re one of them.
