The Year of Yes
So I finished Shonda Rhimes book "Year of Yes: How to Dance It Out, Stand In the Sun and Be Your Own Person" and I must say that this book was soooooo inspirational. I learned that its OK to be out of your comfort zone and say yes to new and scary things. Its also OK to say no to things you really don't want to do. It's ok to toot your own horn and acknowledge your awesomeness. I also realized at some point you have to stop dreaming and start doing. And most importantly, happiness is a choice....
Can’t Spell Friend without END…
I can honestly say that friENDship has taught me more than ANYTHING in life. I may or may not be exaggerating, but seriously. I’ve learned so much about myself, interactions, bonding and even loss. Loss of a friEND is probably the biggest of all those things. And with that loss, I've come to the realization that sometimes friENDships end. Maybe badly. Maybe amicably. But they do indeed end. That's just part of growing up....
