It's making a statement. Showing strength, pride, and the importance of culture from pretty much an all black cast. Showing we can be more than just "the sidekick"...

Can you imagine having to hear that your 14 year son, nephew, brother, cousin, or friend was brutally killed basically because of the color of their skin?.....
